Watching
TED Talks & other talks
Twenty minutes or less, occasionally life-altering. These are the talks I’ve sent to friends.

Brené Brown — “The Power of Vulnerability”
MIND, MOOD & MENTAL FITNESS
This is a Ted Talk for the ages, and what brought her wisdom into my life years ago. It’s a reason that I know the difference between over-sharing and being vulnerable (I hope!) and how to be more understanding of others behavior, not take stuff personally.

Mel Robbins — “How to Stop Screwing Yourself Over”
MIND, MOOD & MENTAL FITNESS
This is a classic Ted talk that is ancient — you can see how young Mel is. This is what started it all with her five second rule!

Esther Perel — “Rethinking infidelity… a talk for anyone who has ever loved”
STORIES FROM THE KITCHEN TABLE
If you have ever been betrayed, or wonder about the causes and effects of doing so, what do to repair and all kinds of other great explanations and advice, this is for you.

Miles Taylor — “The Rising Cost of Dissent in America”
DEMOCRACY AND CURRENT EVENTS
I live in Nürnberg, Germany where the Nazi trials took place after WWII. We have a kind of museum here called the Documentation Center, which does a great job explaining how the holocaust happened. It is CHILLING to draw comparisons to what happened back then, to what is happening in the US today. Mr. Taylor relates his own experience courageously and makes me want to match it — please spend 20 minutes here & SHARE!
